This art museum was founded in 1971 by the private Salvador Dali collector A. Reynolds Morse and his wife Eleanor. The collection was first exhibited in a building adjacent to their home in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1982, the museum was moved to St. Petersburg in Florida. It hosts 95 oil paintings including six of Dali's eighteen large-sized “master works” paintings.

The largest park within the Pinellas County Park System, Fort De Soto Park consists of 1,136 acres made up of five interconnected islands. First opened on December 21, 1962, when the state toll road named the Pinellas Bayway was completed, this park was dedicated May 11, 1963, in perpetuity as a public park. Annual park attendance averages more than 2.7 million visitors and features fishing, picnic and camping areas, boat ramp, canoe trail, nature trail, paw pet playground and two swimming areas.

Egmont Key is a 400 acre State Park. You can only get there by boat. The famous Egmont Key Lighthouse and ruins of Fort Dade are located there.
